Middlesbrough Town Hall Theatre

Home > Entertainment > Middlesbrough Town Hall Theatre

Middlesbrough Town Hall hosts a wide ranging entertainment programme from classical music to pop and rock, comedy and craft fairs. Something for everybody. They are recently also known for holding Asian weddings in the Crypt. And with the Tourist Information Centre and Box Office situated at the Town Hall - it's all here!

The Victorian Gothic Town Hall is one of Middlesbrough's most distinctive buildings, providing an ideal-sized setting for big name, mainstream live acts and productions from across the UK. The Town Hall's typical line up include live bands, tribute acts, classical performances, drama, comedy, musicals, pantomime and dance. Previous acts that have visited are Jimmy Carr, the Royal Shakespeare Company, the Arctic Monkeys and the Moscow Philharmonic Orchestra.

The Town Hall is ideally situated at the heart of the town centre and is very convenient for the bus and train stations.

Car parking is available at the Cleveland Shopping Centre opposite the Town Hall. Secure late night car parking is available at nearby Gurney Street.
