The University of Teesside is on one compact site in the centre of Middlesbrough. All our teaching facilities, support services, student accommodation and the Students' Union are within easy walking distance. The campus blends traditional buildings with eye-catching new facilities, the result of the University's investment of over £70 million in recent years.

Teesside has been the top English modern university for graduate employment and/or graduate-level further study or training for two out of the last three years of published data.
The University of Teesside is providing scholarships worth £3,000 to high achieving students on full-time undergraduate programmes (EU and home students only).
Teesside graduate starting salaries averaged £16,627 in 2003/04, the latest data published. This compares very favourably with other universities in the UK.
It's a fact...
In the first National Student Survey, published in September 2005, Teesside was the highest ranked modern university in the North East of England in terms of student satisfaction. We topped the five regional universities for Personal Development.
Over 60% of students are on courses in academic areas where the teaching provision has been rated as excellent by the national higher education quality watchdogs.
Teesside was the only modern university in the North East of England to gain a ‘5’ in the last Research Assessment Exercise; this was for Historical Research.
